Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of technology services from RBConsult (“we”, “us”, “our”). It explains when refunds may be granted, how cancellations work, and how refunds are processed.

2. Definitions of Project Phases

  • Discovery: Requirements gathering, scoping, and architecture planning.
  • Design: UI/UX deliverables such as wireframes, mockups, and design systems.
  • Development: Engineering work, integrations, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Delivery: Handover of agreed deliverables and acceptance procedures.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are considered based on project status at the time of a written cancellation request:

  • Before project start: 100% refund of amounts paid, less non-recoverable payment processing fees.
  • During Discovery: 75% refund of the remaining balance not yet earned; fees for completed discovery work are non-refundable.
  • During Design: 50% refund of the remaining balance not yet earned; completed design deliverables are non-refundable.
  • During Development: No refund on amounts already invoiced or milestones delivered; you remain liable for work completed to date.
  • After Delivery: No refunds. Post-delivery changes are handled through change requests and new statements of work.

“Remaining balance” means amounts paid for work not yet performed. Milestone billings and retainers for completed phases are non-refundable.

4. Non-Refundable Items

  • Completed and delivered work or milestones.
  • Third-party costs purchased on your behalf (e.g., licenses, API credits, hosting).
  • Rush/expedite fees once work has commenced.
  • Change requests or scope increases already delivered.

5. Cancellations

  • Submit a written cancellation request to info@rbconsult.bh.
  • Include your project reference, company name, and reason for cancellation.
  • We will confirm receipt and provide a statement of work completed to date.

6. Processing of Refunds

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Processing time is typically 10–15 business days after approval; your bank or card issuer may take additional time.
  • Non-recoverable gateway or currency conversion fees are not refundable.
  • Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may delay resolution.

7. Quality Concerns and Disputes

If you are dissatisfied, contact us promptly with specific issues and evidence. We will review and, where appropriate, propose remediation through our standard defect resolution process or a mutually agreed adjustment.

8. No Refunds for Change of Mind

Refunds are not issued for change of mind or preference changes after work has begun. Alterations are handled as change requests.

9. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable law. If local consumer laws grant additional rights, those rights prevail to the extent required.
